Comments:

The only comment I have is about the on-line numbering system. It is not the easest to use, so I have a data-base program I use to list my entries. I can list several different catagories (slot number; movie name; star; time; date; color/b? etc) and I can sort any way I want and print out my list! Other wise it is an excellent product. I am buying another one for my father-in-law.

The Studio is perfect for those who have limited horizontal space because you can stack these vertically on top of each other (up to 3 units). I love this line and I wish it would be reinstated. The multiple colors allow for creative arrangement and easy identification for movie genre(s). Please bring it back, please...

Couldn't you announce & schedule a special run on making a few more of these? It dosn't have to be all the colors you wound up making later, though I am partial to the red ones. These were great!

I just finished filling up my 9th and last Studio 100. So I was looking for more. What a bummer to find out that no-one has them any more. Can get them from DiscGear at high price with steep shipping charges. What a shame, a really great unit. Fits perfectly on the shelves of my old DVD storage cabinet and can be stacked. I would recommend it but it's not available.

We have had these stacked in different rooms for over a year now and they've had a LOT of use and given us no problems!! The reason I purchased this Discgear model over their other ones is because it makes the best use of our available space. An added benefit is how sleek they look. I'm sad to see it's being discontinued!!! Hopefully they'll realize that the Studio 100 meets a need that their "round" and "automated" ones just can't fill!!

I love the Studio 100. I really like the matching satellite carrying case that comes with it. Everything is so convenient. The title sheets are very convenient. I started using my units right away and right out of the box. I am an avid cd collector and I will also use them for my dvd storage once I buy some more. I used address labels on top to identify the different categories of music that are stored in each unit. I will buy a different color for my dvd collection to differentiate between cds and dvds. They are also stackable and pretty stable. The Studio 100 is a perfect gift for anyone who collects cds or dvds.

there really wasn't room for con's i mean it's not as well made as the selectors and i do prefer the button to disc that takes it out. However if you travel you can just pic out a few and go. Really easy to use and i guess the only real con was you can't put anything on top of it or the roof sinks in a bit. But it's the size of a 50 selector and holds 100 thats great when you have 100's of dvd's

Works great for starter collection. I have two filled up right now and they work wonders for keeping the dvds safe. However, they are a pain to search through. I also have a selector 100 but its not as safe in my opinion as this. I cant wait for the Browser 100 which combines both.

I discovered this product from a freind's recomendation, which solved a growing problem I was facing....storage. I was storing personal cd's, data discs etc. in jewel cases and was running out of room to store them, when I discovered Studio 100. I purchased several, enough to "grow" into!

Comments:

I have 12 Studio 100s. I got a windfall of over 400 CDs from a company that was going out of business (long story, I was very lucky), and I needed a way to store close to a thousand CDs without taking up much space. These work like a charm: I store the discs in the Studio 100s, and store the dust sleeves elsewhere. I usually toss/recycle the jewel cases. I have to admit, though, that as my collection got larger, I wrote my own software for cataloging the discs; the Studio 100 isn't made for browsing through CDs, and I didn't use the index sheets very often. The index sheets are fine for one or two of the containers, but they get out of hand quickly if you're trying to find a specific item in a list of 300. The added Satellite has made it very easy to pack some CDs for a road trip, since the CD sleeves pull out. In addition, Discgear as a company has always been very friendly and helpful. For example, when I moved last spring, I lost the legs to a couple of my Studios. Discgear sent me replacement sets quite quickly, with no hassle. I've been using their products for over 10 years, and have been quite happy.
