This is a greatt product! I just wish they had a 200 count DiscGear, which would be easier than having to buy (4) 100 units...

I alright purchase two of the Selector 100 for movies and music and I'm in love. My kids are so much in love with it that they watch movies more now then before just to use it. When I have family, friends or guest over we also show them our Selector and they end up wanting to get one. I am going to purchase two for my uncle for a christmas gift. Thanks

I got our company to buy one of these to sort out our pile of install CDs. It's excellent. The selection mechanism takes a little getting used to but that's all. The online software for managing the library is simple but effective. The only thing I should have done was ordered the 150 version! We've now ordered another and I've recommended it to others.

This product actually delivers on its promises. It is a quick and easy way to store and organize DVDs. I'll probably be buying another one in a year or so as I continue to expand my DVD collection. Remember as you are thinking about which size to purchase that some of your DVDs probably have an extra special features disc. It makes the box fill up faster than you might think. The only draw back is you have to consider that the box needs to open to get out your DVD. Obvious I know, but the shelf I thought it would go on is not high enough to accommodate the movement. So it sits on top of the entertainment center rather than in the entertainment center. I'd still buy another one.

My family and friends love to have karaoke parties. The Discgear Selector 100 eliminates the pile up of discs because you don't have time to put them away, the minute it comes out of the karaoke machine it goes right back into it's slot.............I LOVE IT!

We needed to get rid of the bulky jewel cases and with these boxes, we were able to do just that. A terrific way to organize all your CDs. We now have more room in our entertainment center and the boxes look beautiful when we take them out to select some CDs.

I love this item!! Actually I have 3 of these & 2 that hold 120. The cases work just as advertised. Great for those of us who like organization and less clutter. Fact is I still need about 3 more.

The unit is very easy to set up. The disc locator online allows easy input for disc location and very easy to print out hard copy of the location. Finding the required disc is very simple by looking at your print out in the slide drawer made up by the provided program online and very easily extracts the selected number disc for you. I am intending to purchase another one in the very near future because of the ease of operation. Thanks for an excellent unit.

Comments:
This little gadget enabled me to remove shelves and shelves of storage. My small home theater/audio listening "man cave" does not have the room to store DVDs, CDs, and PC software jewel boxes. I have filled four of these gizmos with my DVD collection and will be ordering more for CDs and computer software. While this is not a complaint, I would suggest that potential buyers keep in mind that if they like to "browse" their collection, there will be no pretty covers to remind them of the DVD story line. The good news is that discgear does provide storage for the covers. Note that this is not a flaw with the device and this comment should not be viewed as a criticism. The only other comment I have is that I decided not to use these for my small collection of PS3 games so I could keep the game DVDs and related support materials together.

Bought 5 of these over the past 2 years as I was running out of room with DVD's My 5 year old son has been using since was about 3, he just looked at the literature book, found the number and went straight to it, best for when they can't read.

I bought several to seperate my movies into categories. Having the pop out list is a big help. Sure you have to invest the time to populate the list and keep up with them, but if you do it right the first time, there is no up keep issues. The look great or at least better than the binders and they are stackable. A little pricey but you get what you pay for.

PRO - I like the new price [$] was a little too much (even though I bought three anyway)PRO - InnovativeCON - Needs a lot of elbow room to store and operate. NO FIX yet. Stacking is bad, drop it and it'll never be the same, and neither will 100 of your favorite whatevers.CON - It's not good for children's collections because they can't read, are messy, voilent, and miss the cover art (as much as i did).CON - It's hard to find what you are looking for if you don't know exactly what you want, particularly if you have more than one...CON - Software: It's good enough that I wanted to use it, hard enough to use I came up with another solution.Fix - I bought a baseball card folder and print out numbered, glossy, baseball card sized copies of the cover art (drool and puppy proof! Just print anew!). I call it the movie menu, point at what you want, and I'll go get it for you. Guests like how simple this is, and I like that they are NOT messing with MY stuff. I found this process simpler than using the clunky software that came with it.CON - useless if 'want to be helpful' companions don't put things back where they belong.FIX - I bought him a discus to throw things into like a laundry basket for recently viewed dvds. I call it the dump pod. He almost never put anything up anyway, no matter how simple discgear made it, so this has stopped the arguing. Now it's perfect movie time marital compromise zen.WINI love it and would (do?) recommend it to everyone.
