This is a very solid piece. I felt the description was pretty accurate, except I assumed it could be mounted on the wall and it cannot. Will have to have my husband make a metal piece on the back to hang on the wall as my space is limited. I have the Selector 100's and they fit securely on the shelves. By the pic you could tell you couldn't open them while on the shelves. They must be removed first. What they do is get them out of the way and stacked together.

The software is fairly easy to use but is very proprietary and will not let you copy or merge. After I entered three hundred titles I realized I should have entered them into a word processor first. It would be MUCH more efficient to search my collection!

I purchased my 1st 2 from QVC and a notebook came with each of them to file the covers in and I loved that. This one came without a notebook and I hate that. I would recommend getting it from QVC because of the notebooks and not directly from the site. The product itself it great. My husband loves them. Kathy

I live on a boat and therefore room is at a premium. I use these selector's to store my DVDs and can toss the cases. As my DVD collection expands, I buy more selectors - I now own 6 and will buy more as I need them.

The small footprint allows me to free up space in cabinets and find things easily. I have several of these units, and what makes it even better is the online management which helps me identify and keep every disc in its place. I store all my dvds (complete collection of StarTrek, etc). About 400 so far. Some of the units could use some kind of handle; like on the 'Selector 50', which I use for Macintosh system disc storage. These are the greatest!

I keep my DVD's, CD's and board games in my hall closet. Some of the DVD's were 3-4 deep so if we wanted to watch one that was way in the back, it was never put back properly. All my DVD's and CD's are easy to access, I do keep it in the closet along with the book to keep the title pages in. Everything is nice and neat now which I have problems with anyway.
