the selector 100 is perfect for what I wanted it for. This is the second product I bought and both are great for storing DVD's.

PRO - I like the new price [$] was a little too much (even though I bought three anyway)PRO - InnovativeCON - Needs a lot of elbow room to store and operate. NO FIX yet. Stacking is bad, drop it and it'll never be the same, and neither will 100 of your favorite whatevers.CON - It's not good for children's collections because they can't read, are messy, voilent, and miss the cover art (as much as i did).CON - It's hard to find what you are looking for if you don't know exactly what you want, particularly if you have more than one...CON - Software: It's good enough that I wanted to use it, hard enough to use I came up with another solution.Fix - I bought a baseball card folder and print out numbered, glossy, baseball card sized copies of the cover art (drool and puppy proof! Just print anew!). I call it the movie menu, point at what you want, and I'll go get it for you. Guests like how simple this is, and I like that they are NOT messing with MY stuff. I found this process simpler than using the clunky software that came with it.CON - useless if 'want to be helpful' companions don't put things back where they belong.FIX - I bought him a discus to throw things into like a laundry basket for recently viewed dvds. I call it the dump pod. He almost never put anything up anyway, no matter how simple discgear made it, so this has stopped the arguing.Now it's perfect movie time marital compromise zen.WINI love it and would (do?) recommend it to everyone.

Listen, discgear products do exactly what they promise, and the company stands behind it's word. I have the storage units, the carry cases (discus), and Literature Album. I have purchased discus units for at least ten of my family & friends. I have been a discgear user for about ten years, and I absolutely love this product, and the customer service attitude of this company. The only reason I did not give five stars is because there is room for improvement, but this is a fantastic product.

I have two of these in use which have received low usage. They were great when they worked but the springs have broken in both of them so it's a bit of a pain to get the CD's out now.

I purchased this identical unit several years ago when I only had about 100 music CD's. At the same time, I also purchased the round portable round unit for my car so I could take selected CD's on the road. Now I have several hundred music CD's, about 50 movie DVD's, and miscellaneous software CD's for various computer systems, software applications, etc. The Discgear system is the best way to keep all this "stuff" organized so I bought some additional units for this purpose. This product is great for clearing up space that's taken up by my DVD's. I have them well organized and condensed, I love it. Very useful.

One of the best points is you can login online and develop the menus in many formats. You can then print them. The menus are stored online for future use.

This is amazing..I had purchased 2 of the DiscSelect 80s from QVC in 2008 and hadn't done anything with them...I just recently used them and ordered 2 of the Selector 100's...I just ordered 2 more of the Selector 100's...I like it much better than the DiscSelect 80...Very easy to use..quick to get organized, and I can't believe I waited this long.

We use one of these to store big people movies in and another to store the kids stuff in. I've taken four shelves down to less than 2. It looks so neat and clean! Is also so much easier to find the movie we are looking for. Its also makes it so much faster for me to pick up the disc's that get left out buy the kids. And it takes only seconds for me to put the dvd back in its numbered slot, and no searching under the furniture for the stupid DVD cases. Dusting is faster too. Im going to order two more for all of our music cd's! And a third for the video games!

Could really use 1 or 2 more. I have 8 selector 100's and only 2 stands. These units provide the best STORAGE solution. Removing cases to retrieve disc's is a fair trade-off for the compact nature of this device.

My wife first saw this on QVC. She purchased two of them, which we immediately filled up. They are so compact with easy to use index that we wouldn't be without them. We have cleared up so much space in the house, using these cases. We like them so well that we have purchased eight more to accomodate all the CDs and DVDs.

All of those jewel cases are outta sight and never need dusting!!! I have 3, 2 Selector 100's and another style. I will be replacing the other style because I like the ability to stack them. One of the greatest features is I can find the cd/dvd that I want immediately and it is clean, no finger prints. I loan some of my games to my grandson, when he denies all knowledge of possession, I open the correct Selector, look for the empty space, verify the number and game name; and his memory is prompty returned. Wish my computer files were so easy to keep organized!! I also recommend the Selector Stacker. Gotta love those little towers of a beautiful design.

I own 3 - Selector 120's, 1 - Selector 100, and 1 - Selector 50. I can't say enough about these. Only problem is they are just a bite pricey!!! But that hasn't stopped me nor will it stop me if I need more
