Pros:
Attractive Design, Compact
Best Uses:
Basic Systems

Comments about Discgear Selector Stand:

[...] I never knew these even existed. I have 4 of the selector 100's and that would make it so much more presentable rather than just stacking them atop one another.

The Selector Stand has cleaned up my act
By sandyVerified Purchaser from Haymarket, VA on 7/14/2009
Pros:
Attractive Design, Compact, Durable, Easy To Set Up
Cons:
Not enough space between
Best Uses:
Basic Systems, Entertainment, Larger Rooms, Smaller Rooms
Describe Yourself:
Practical
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Discgear Selector Stand:

Because there is not enough space between bottom and middle shelf, I use the top and bottom shelf, that way I can open my disc gear without removing them from the stand. It needs a little more space between the shelves so that three disc gears can be stored and opened without having to remove them.

P.S. I am still very happy with the product

Stacks but no access
By Movie LoverVerified Purchaser from Palm Beach, FL on 7/1/2009
Pros:
Attractive Design, Compact, Durable
Cons:
Must remove to access
Best Uses:
Smaller Rooms
Describe Yourself:
Professional, Tech Savvy
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Discgear Selector Stand:

Great idea gone wrong. Ability to stack is important but you must remove the entire Selector to have it open and allow you take out your chosen disc.
So, only benefit is space-saving, not ready-access to media.

Perfect and a great deal
By Discgear fanVerified Purchaser from Arlington, DC on 6/3/2009
Pros:
Attractive Design, Durable, Easy To Set Up
Describe Yourself:
Tech Savvy
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Discgear Selector Stand:

I picked up this stand to hold my Selector 100's and it exceeded expectations. The stand is all metal, easy to assemble and it's got to be the easiest and most practical way to store these CD holders. Place the holder you use most often on top, as it's the one you'll be able to access without removing it from the stand. You can access all three menus without moving any holders. If you have more than one Selector, you need this stand.

Comments about Discgear Selector Stand:

This appears to be a high quality product, it was easy to put together and sturdy. My mistake, I have the Disgear 120 Disc holder, and it will not work with that product. Technical support had no solution but to return the product. I kept it and am trying to make it work with two shelves

Improves shelf access and open storage. A well designed and well made triple stand. A two-level would be a welcomed addition, also.

By Bernie The AttorneyVerified Purchaser from Staten Island, NY on 5/13/2009
Pros:

Cons:
Not Adjustable
Best Uses:
CDs, DVDs, Large Collections, Multiple storage units
Describe Yourself:
Midrange Shopper
Primary use:
Personal
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Discgear Selector Stand:

This unit is a great space saver. I was surprised when I opened the box. I expected a plastic unit and the unit is made of welded steel parts. It is very strong and stable. Too bad that it can only be used for the "selector 100" as I have "selector 80's" as well. Perhaps they will become available for the selector 80 in the future.

Comments about Discgear Selector Stand:

The first one I got had two screws stripped and I could not put it together any more. Returning it for refund or exchange was difficult and not customer friendly.

By DaveyK.Verified Purchaser from Meriden, Ct. on 5/12/2009

Comments about Discgear Selector Stand:

It stacks the selector 100's very nicely. The only thing I don't like about it,is you can't open the tops of the middle and bottom selectors. You have to take them off the stand. Correct this problem and you will get a five star rating and I will order another one.

Made in China--and quality reflects
By Okinawa_diverVerified Purchaser from Okinawa, Japan on 5/11/2009
Pros:
Attractive Design, Easy Assembly, Functional
Cons:
Hardwarestripped threads, Poor Design, Shelves may not assemble
Best Uses:
CDs, DVDs, Large Collections, Living Room
Describe Yourself:
High-end Shopper
Primary use:
Personal
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Discgear Selector Stand:

Of the 7 stands I ordered 3 were unusable because the threads to attach the shelves were too large or stripped and the bolts would not engage the threads. The shelves were not attached securely and unable to support the weight of the storage units. Either charge more and up the specs for these stands or sell them with a warning that the product is subpar. Packaging box was flimsy and not in good condition upon delivery.

Very well made!
By AngieVerified Purchaser from Wisconsin on 5/11/2009
Pros:
Attractive Design, Easy Assembly, Functional, High Quality, Stylish Design
Cons:
Not wall mountable
Best Uses:
CDs, DVDs, Large Collections
Describe Yourself:
Midrange Shopper
Primary use:
Personal
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Discgear Selector Stand:

This is a very solid piece. I felt the description was pretty accurate, except I assumed it could be mounted on the wall and it cannot. Will have to have my husband make a metal piece on the back to hang on the wall as my space is limited. I have the Selector 100's and they fit securely on the shelves. By the pic you could tell you couldn't open them while on the shelves. They must be removed first. What they do is get them out of the way and stacked together.

A Must Have!
By hippieladyVerified Purchaser from Ennis, TX on 5/11/2009
Pros:
Attractive Design, Easy Assembly, Functional, High Quality
Best Uses:
CDs, DVDs, Large Collections
Describe Yourself:
Midrange Shopper
Primary use:
Business
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Discgear Selector Stand:

If you're using 2 or 3 of the 100 auto's this is a MUST have and a great space saver! The stand is VERY sturdy metal composition and I have mine sitting on the end of my desk so all three are within reach and it cleared a lot of space on my desktop. HIGHLY recommended and if I expand into needing more auto 100's I would definitely buy a second stand to go w/them.

Fantastic Product
By kraftykidVerified Reviewer from Everett, Washington on 5/4/2009
Pros:
Attractive Design, Easy Assembly, Easy Storing, Functional, High Quality, Stylish Design
Best Uses:
CDs, DVDs, Large Collections
Describe Yourself:
Midrange Shopper
Primary use:
Personal
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Discgear Selector Stand:

Product is better than I thought it would be. Easy to put together and my 3 100's fit perfectly. This product is as advertisted a holder and only a holder. I have mine set by priority. Software on the bottom, games in the middle and music, movies on top. I have two 100 autos and one selector 100. Both styles fit well and are easy to remove when needed.

This holder has cleared up extra work space for me. I cannot find one bad thing to say about it. If you are interested in how the 100's fit, run your mouse over the stand.

Don't buy this for 3 Auto 100's
By wbb457 from Los Angeles, CA on 3/13/2009
Pros:
Easy Assembly, High Quality
Cons:
Lacks Functionality
Best Uses:
DVDs
Describe Yourself:
High-end Shopper
Primary use:
Business
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Discgear Selector Stand:

[...] this unit does in fact work with the Auto 100. It only HOLDS them and plus, it's a tight fit! It's not functional at all. The lid on the Auto 100 can't open. The only way to get it to work at all is to not install the middle tier & only use the top & bottom tiers. This stand needs to near twice the height to accommodate three Auto 100's.
