Not at all what I expected from DiscGear

This Disc Select 80 is not up to the standards that I have become use to from Disc Gear, I was very disappointed. I do wish that you would make some more FX 100s. I really like the clear plastic cover that you can put on top of the unit. I like to put my title sheets here. This is much better that the pull out on the bottom.

I recieved this gift for Christmas along with the directions. I tried to figure it out but the directions read as if someone who knew not one word of English wrote it. I am able to open and close this thing fine I just don't understand how to get in and out the CD's without damaging any of them.

Tried to use it in my car so I had one place for all my CD's while I drive. A big mistake. It fell apart in my car and all the time I spent labeling was wasted. Still looking for a reliable disc storage unit for use in my car.

I have 3 auto 100 and a DiscSelect 80, I own over 120 dvds all movies and 85 dvds on documentaries. I keep my own menu in a 3 ring folder, retrieval is simple. Storage in my discgear takes up very little space in comparison to the packages the dvds arrive in. I'am thoroughly happy with this product.

The index is impossible to see unless you hold it at eye level. The title sheet is very hard to attach.ann I have not been able to install.I would not recommend this unit to anyone. I now understand why it was on sale. I have the 120HD and like it.

this is a great product to clear the clutter get rid of those DVD/CD towers and store them in a compact portable storage, the label feature lets you know what you have in your collection so no more dublicates, great product.

I am happy with the 100 and the 80. I do like the 100 better than the 80. I like the drawer with the list of my DVD on it better. Your software for recording this leaves a bit to be desired so I don't use it. Im just set up a spread sheet to handle it.

best way to sort and find the disk you need when you need it. no more digging thru stacks of disks. Just check the index and pull it out. Had a 100 already and bought the 80 for me and also sent one to my brother

I own the 120 disc gear in the box design and it seems rugged and fashionable, so I ordered this one for the kids as a Christmas gift. It appears flimsy and may break easily if dropped or banged by children.

Does not match the quality of the other Discgear products which I use and have been happy with. Seems flimsy and cheaply made. The disc number tag on the bottom of the unit was not aligned correctly. Also, the disc is not always picked up when the unit is opened. I am seriously thinking of sending it back.

The unit is great however I am very disappointed that you did not provide the software to be able to print my 'library' and save same on my own computer so I can add and subtract CD titles as my library changes in the future.

I have several of DiscSelects in different sizes. It has reduced storage space to a minimum. It makes finding your favorite DVD or music CD very easy to find. The kids find it easy to use also.
I even have one in my motorhome.

I had this unit for a year before I finally decided to take the time to set it up. We had a new TV console and the storage area for our CD's
showed and looked messy. Now have all our music in the unit and labeled and it looks beautiful in our cabinet - it shows behind a glass door.
So easy to find the CD I want and easy to put it back in the same slot. I may purchase a second one for use in my Computer/Sewing Room. I recommend this product to anyone who likes things to be organized and attractive.

The DiscSelect 80 exceeded my expectations. All I wanted was something to store a lot of discs, but this product comes with an online facility to provide you with a list and location of every disc in the box. I have now purchased four of them.

I have six DiscSelect 80 count units and their great. I was able to clear all my shelves of dvd boxes and have The 6 DiscSelect 80 on one shelf. Much neater and easier. The one thing I think neads improvement is the disc menu thats in the unit needs to be larger print. Otherwise, I am totally happy with this product.

I am very pleased with the DiscSelect 80 and have placed my Christmas CDs. The capacity is more than adeqaute for my needs and I love the styling. However, I did have a problem trying to match the CD titles with the index provided. I typed up a list of the CDs in the unit but this list would not print out with the title on the lines provided. I never could get it to work so I ended up just hand writing the titles.

I transfer the 8mm and super 8mm film to DVD for myself and friends. Storing in this system is good except that it won't grab the disc most of the time. I have to try over and over. I wish there was some other way to maintain the index too. This seems a bit cumbersome.
I like the convenience of storing so many discs in one place.

Love fact I don't have to alphabetize; just enter at randome and the online program does all the work. Very easy to use. Use for data, software, and DVD video storage. Worked so well bought as Chrismas gifts last year. Only reason I didn't give a 5 star is sometimes the pickup latch does not catchthe CD, but minor issue.

I use this product to store all the CD's and DVD's for the computer. It really organized my media. I just wish they were flat on top and not round so I could stack them. The selector is a little cranky, But I just work with it because all in all it is a great idea.
